Image and Video Processing are fast growing areas. Some key application areas are LCD, TV, Digital Video Players, Gaming Applications, Medical Image Processing and Storage, Mobile TV, Internet Video Streaming, Set-Top Boxes etc. In these areas, many a times, there is a need to do real time video processing (example LCD TV, Set-Top Box). These datapath algorithms which does either compression/decompression or video post processing requires large amount of computational power. These algorithms can then be ported on to high end processors like Davinci from TI or a dedicated ASIC Video Processing Engine can be designed/developed.

  • Color space conversion
  • 4:2:2 to 4:4:4 Conversion
  • Interlaced and progressive frames
  • Noise Reduction, Deblocking
  • Motion Detection
  • Image Scaling
  • Edge enhancement
  • Color Quantization/Dithering
  • Jpeg Compression/Decompression
  • De-interlacing
  • Wavelet decomposition/Reconstruction
Course duration : 90 hrs

Typical Duration for the course is 90 hours but the course can be tailormade for shorter durations as per the Corporate/Batch requirements.
